After partnering with the ICBC Leasing, the leasing arm of the Industrial and Commercial Bank of China (ICBC), Cobalt Air has welcomed its fifth aircraft, bearing the carrier’s colours and logo as well as the Cypriot flag.

Expected to start revenue flights shortly and satisfy the increasing demand for seats to and from Cyprus, the new Airbus A320 is the second aircraft to join the Cobalt fleet under leases from ICBC Leasing.

Andrew Madar, CEO, Cobalt Air, noted that this marks another milestone for the two organisations, reflecting their close connection.

Jun Liu, executive director, ICBC Leasing, flew to Cyprus to finalise the aircraft’s lease and opened the path for additional engagements with Cobalt Air.
