Results for Workshop for Parks’ Design Presented

The results of the four-day workshop of ideas and proposals for the design of two Amusement Parks in Ayia Napa were presented on November 19. The results were presented at the Municipal Museum of the Sea, with the contribution of the department of architecture of the University of Frederick, and the school of architecture of the National Technical University of Athens.

The workshop took place following a unanimous decision of the municipal council to support the initiative of Yiannis Karousos, mayor, Ayia Napa, and Christos Zannettos, deputy mayor, Municipal Committee for Development and Works, Ayia Napa.

Commenting on the proposals, Karousos expressed his satisfaction with the outcome of the workshop, stressing that many of the ideas that emerged from an older laboratory coordinated by Frederick University are mature projects and are being implemented.
