The Company said the Limassol Mobility app allowed users to find the most efficient route from one point to another, while using sustainable mobility modes of transportation, while also saving time and energy. This would help ensure users had a more pleasant commuting experience while creating a minimum impact on the environment.
The app contains comprehensive information about cycling routes, electric vehicle charging stations, parking places, and public bus services, including routes, stops and maps.
It also includes an integrated trip planner with location search functionality to help users figure out the most efficient way to reach their destination and expected duration of travel.
The app is available for free on Google Play and Apple’s App Store under the name Limassol Mobility. Additionally, the Company noted that the app had been created with funds from the initiative, Civitas Destinations, within the European Union’s Horizon 2020 Research and Innovation programme.
