Ayia Napa Pairs Up with Gelendzhik

Following the twinning partnership protocol signed in September at the context of Ayia Napa International Festival between Ayia Napa and Gelendzhik, the two cities completed the twinning B phase on November 25, in Russia.

The twinning ceremony took place with all the formalities at the Mansion of Culture and Arts, where Yannis Karousos, mayor, Ayia Napa, and Viktor Khrestin, mayor, Gelendzhik, signed a protocol of collaboration, highlighting that the two cities will continue working together in the areas of economy and tourism.

At the entrance of the Mansion of Culture and Arts, the delegation of the municipality of Ayia Napa welcomed students of a Greek school dressed in traditional costumes, Russia and Pontus, and in their room were welcomed two groups of children who held and borrowed small flags of Cyprus and Russia.
