CTO Honours French Journalist

As a token of appreciation, Cyprus Tourism Organisation (CTO) has honoured French journalist Ursula Laurent on her latest visit, for the love she has shown for the island.

CTO gifted Laurent a copy of the original Hellenistic period head statue of the goddess Aphrodite, which is currently exhibited at Nicosia Archaeological Museum. The renowned journalist first came to Cyprus 20 years ago and has since been fascinated by the authenticity of the island.

Despite Laurent’s many visits, Cyprus remains one of her favourite destinations, expressing that commitment with visits every year.  Laurent has written a number of promotional articles for Cyprus as a tourism destination, with her latest article titled, Cyprus, a thousand discoveries on the island, which was published in local French publication 68 MAG.
