Cyprus Agrotourism Association Holds General Assembly

Cyprus Agrotourism Association’s general assembly, took place on February 26, at Apokriphos Hotel, Lofu, Limassol, with many owners and administrators representing licensed traditional buildings and small hotels from the island taking part.

The company’s audited accounts for the year 2016 were approved by the audit firm Yiannas & Fessas Auditwise.

Annita Demetriadou, president, Yianna & Fessas Auditwise, reflected on the company's activities for 2017 with particular emphasis on promoting, training and developing agrotourism. Demetriadou referred to Cyprus Tourism Organisation’s decision to expand and strengthen the company through its members’ inclusion and other small countryside businesses offering similar activities to provide visitors with a more complete holiday experience.

This year the association will implement a new action plan with multifaceted promotional actions abroad and on the island, as well as actions towards the sector’s development and improving member professionalism.
