Having begun on May 05 and continuing until May 27, the events are being coordinated by Department of Antiquities, Ministry of Transport, Communications and Works and Cyprus National Committee of the International Council of Museums.

The programme encompasses happenings at 27 museums and other cultural institutions, with highlights including an outdoor photographic exhibition entitled Meditations in the gardens of Nicosia’s Cyprus Museum on May 18.

On the same day, Nicosia Tourism Board will offer a free guided tour of the museum, in English, at 11:00. Free tours, offered by Department of Antiquities, will follow in Greek at 15:30 and 17:00.

Also, on May 19, 20 and 27, Hambis Printmaking Centre, in Limassol’s Platanisteia village, will exhibit Antiquities and landscapes of Hellenism, featuring prints and illustrated books from the 16th century up to modern times. Hélène Reeb-Τsangaris, curator, will give free guided tours, between 11:00 and 12:00.
